Pros: fan, wide base, monitor, fairly easy assembly Cons: no major problems
Oh The Good Old Days!
I have a box of clothes in my closet from the good old days. That would be back in high school when I was at the lowest weight of my life and looking pretty good.
Then real life began. I got...

Pros: Cheap Cons: The digital gauges lie, It wants to fall apart. NOT RELIABLE AT ALL.
Over 60% of Americans suffer from overweight. After learning this fact, you'd expect that those 60% would need some kind of equipment in order to lose those extra pounds.
Most people would buy an exercise bike.
This...

Pros: Sturdy, economical, quiet, ease of assembly, comfortable seat, very relaxing form of exercising indoors. Cons: I can honestly say I found no negative features of this exercise bike. It's worth it.
I had no problems putting the bike together. It is sturdy and very quiet thus far.Everything was included and no parts were missing.I have used it and can tell I'm getting a good mid & lower body workout.I bought it to replace a treadmill and think it...

Pros: Price, easy assembly, dual action handle bars, space requirements, easy to move, easy to use Cons: Wheel noise, tension adjustment noise, no accumulated miles
This model is very similiar to the 890; it may have been upgraded or maybe is just the number for the Wal-Mart model. I purchased this today to replace a stationary bike I've had more than ten years and finally broke the peddle axle -a Tunturi that I ...

Oh, dear God...

Pros: They send the piece of crap parts soon? Cons: Everything listed in my review.
Alright. I haven't actually tried this thing yet, but I will edit this as soon as I do.
OK. I ordered this from wwww.walmart.com two weeks ago. I was excited because it only cost 88 dollars and when it came I started to put it together right away. It turned out that the first thing I was supposed to put together was bent, and impossible to put in.
I called the 1-800 number and they shipped something free of charge a week later. I opened up the box, and they only sent the frame...without the wheel with the bike. I had to take off the wheel off the OLD main frame, put it on the NEW main frame...and it turned out I couldn't get it on the new mainframe...I am so frustrated. By the time I figured all this out, the 1-800 number's office is closed.
I do NOT recommend this product, even though I haven't actually tried it. But this is quite the frustration, I must say.

Tension belt broke
by bdeco ,Oct 31 '05
Pros: Provides a good workout, when it works Cons: Tension belt. Lack of ease of assembly and installing replacing parts.
Bought this product from Wal-Mart. It worked well for a year, but after that the tension belt broke. I was able to purchase a new belt from the company website, but installing the belt required several hours of work as the bike had to be completely diassembled (with no instructions to help either). Finally, after installing the new tension belt, the tension could not be adjusted.
I can't reccommend a better bike for you, but I can would avoid this one if you can afford to. It is the cheapest one out there for a reason.

You Can't Be Serious!
by mtnhiker ,Nov 04 '05
Pros: The price,
Initial performance. Cons: It fell apart after 3 months.
I too purchased the Stamina bike at Walmart and initially, was giddy over the price and pleased with the performance. The equipment fit well and had a smooth action. But alas, after 3 months the bushings have given out and the thing has literally collapsed. The product might work for a casual exerciser but I can not recommend it for anyone serious about conditioning.

Great value for the money!
by geno4694 ,Jan 25 '04
Pros: Great value! Cons: LCD readout may not be very accurate as far as calories burned and distance.
I am not overweight; however, I do have circulatory problems due to high cholesterol/tri-glyceride levels. I purchased the Stamina 890 at Wal-Mart on sale for $77.77 and am very happy with it. The assembly instructions were a little vague in that the bolts and nuts were not numerically identified on the page showing them; however, with a little common sense, it only took me about 30 minutes to assemble it.
The bike seems to be sturdy and stable. I like the way that it is made so that the rider has the option of using the handlebars for the rowing action. The seat is wide and comfortable and the handlebar grips are nice. The resistance setting offers a wide continuum of settings;however, it would be nice to have some type of readings on it other than a /- symbol. The LCD screen is also large and easy to read. I also like the large slip resistance pedals.

Don't waste your money
by vvalverde ,Mar 23 '04
Pros: Cheap Cons: Bad value
After using it 3 times a week for the last 5 months, it has fallen apart. It is not worth the $120 I paid. The digital display tends not to stay in place and the data is questionable., the instructions are worse, and not accurate at all. Don't buy it. Spend a little more on something better
