| cshaws's Full Review: Stamina Products Band Flex Gym 50-0202 |
I am 51 years old and have been running every other day for 20 years along with pushups and situps. Seems every where I read lately IE Atkins diet which I have been on for 7 months, etc highly recommend resistance or weight exercise.
So I started looking around and just about dropped to my knees when I saw the price of the bowflex, then checked out the Crossbow. Then I found a site which mentioned the bandflex as a great value and does just about everything the bowflex does for about $350 delivered. Space was also a very critical factor for me as we don't have much room for alot of equipment. This takes up very little room once folded up.
Did alot of research, but couldn't find any real reviews on the bandflex from consumers on the web, but decided to give it a try. I am extremely impressed by this product. It is very well built. Took about 3 hours to put together and for the most part the directions were very good. They show how to do around 15 exercises which turns out to be a great workout for every muscle group. In addition to get more exercises I printed out the Bowflex and Crossbow guides and find that alot of those exercises can also be done on the bandflex.
Great piece of equipment. I am sold on this type of exercise. Now I alternate between running one day and working out on the Bandflex the other day. I sleep great
As far as Standex, the manufacturer, customer support was extremely responsive. I had one tube cap missing and they sent it out no questions asked within 3 days.
